Donnie Wahlberg has given us the early word that he'll probably host a second birthday party for himself later this week to appease fans who couldn't get tickets to tomorrow's sold-out shindig in his honor at Mohegan Sun's Ultra 88 Nightclub. Tickets to Donnie's 40th birthday party sold out in 20 minutes. Donnie said fans should check his Twitter page for details about the second soiree. "It's going to be a great night," he said, of tomorrow's birthday extravaganza. "I couldn't think of a better way to celebrate."

Wahlberg admitted that it's easier to deal with New Kids fans now that they've matured. "They're not going to sit in front of my house -- and they don't need to."

Wahlberg will be spending more time in Boston now that he's joined the cast of the Kevin James comedy "The Zookeeper," which has been filming at the Franklin Park Zoo. Wahlberg told us he'll play a zookeeper who doesn't like animals. "He's the anti-Dr. Doolittle," Wahlberg said, laughing.

Even though Mark Wahlberg's local movie "The Fighter" has already had its wrap party, Donnie says he and his brother will have some time together in Boston. "Mark and I have a harder time seeing each other because of our schedules," Donnie admitted. "Hopefully, we can play some golf at Franklin Park."
