PUTMAN, Pearl May Peacefully at Sunnyside Home, Kitchener, on September 4, 2009, just short of her 90th birthday. Predeceased by her beloved husband Floyd in 2004 and her eldest son Wayne in 2000. Loved and now dearly missed by her son Gary and daughter-in-law Ann of Cambridge, her daughter Marlene of Essex, Massachusetts and her daughter-in-law Lynda of Burlington, her eleven grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and one great- great-grandchild. Born November 2, 1919 in Seneca Township but lived most of her life in Dunnville. Moved to Hamilton with her husband in 1998, then Cambridge in 2006 following her husband's death, to be near her son and family. Past Matron of the Eastern Star, an at home mother who later worked part time at the Dominion Fabrics and for Statistics Canada. Was a long term member of the First Baptist Church, Dunnville, and volunteered at Grandview Lodge. The family extends thanks to the staff of Queen's Square Terrace, Cambridge and Sunnyside Home, Kitchener for their caring support over the past three years. Funeral service will be held at the First Baptist Church, Dunnville, on Saturday. September 12, 2009, at 1:30 p.m. Friends will be received at the Church from 12:30-1:30 p.m. on that date. Interment at Riverside Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Sunnyside Home Foundation would be appreciated.
