Expect all the classic Kids-style choreography on board!
We love musical cruise season every winter. It brings such a random assortment of sea-bound voyages, from the by-now-an-institution Jam Cruise to our new favorite, the garage-rock-soul-themed Bruise Cruise. Well, here's another somewhat unlikely hit trip that's returning: The New Kids on the Block cruise!

Haters be damned. Since reuniting in the past couple of years, NKOTB has been earning tidy sums for its concerts. The venues may be a little smaller than those they played in the late '80s and early '90s, but the performances are for no less passionate crowds.

Yes, the early New Kids fans have grown up, and luckily for the band, this means they have moved on from saving allowance pennies to spending their own discretionary funds! (Check out our slide show from their concert this past May at the Fillmore Miami Beach.)

Voila, the New Kids on the Block Cruise, which debuted in 2009 and features a series of meet-and-greets, dance parties, and intimate concerts. Despite the grumblings of a few fans who complained they didn't get enough face time on the first go-around, the first two trips were so nice, they decided to do it thrice -- and even bigger this time.

The third NKOTB Cruise departs from Miami on May 12, 2011 and includes stops in Nassau, Bahamas as well as the private island Half Moon Cay. The ship this time is the Carnival Destiny, bigger than last time around, and at five days and four nights, the trip is a day longer than in years past. Tickets go on sale to the general public this Friday, August 13 at 3 p.m. Visit nkotb.com for more details.
