Like Jenny McCarthy, our New Kids on the Block spent New Year’s Eve with Ryan Seacrest in New York. Donnie Wahlberg, who’s a NYC regular because of his Big Apple-based show, “Blue Bloods,’’ mingled with fans from Australia in the crowd when he wasn’t onstage performing. Wahlberg then traveled to Connecticut, where he hosted a party at Mohegan Sun’s nightclub, Ultra 88. Guests included Tony Dovolani of “Dancing With the Stars.’’ . . . Speaking of Mohegan Sun, that’s where a bunch of Boston sports types spent New Year’s Eve. After checking out Chelsea Handler’s show, Wes Welker, Kevin Youkilis, and Theo Epstein hung out at the aforementioned Ultra 88. A dressed-down Handler also stopped by the club.
