It's official: New Kids on the Block plans second cruise for 2010

X-large It was such a hit, they're doing it again.

In the wake of a sell-out trip earlier this year, New Kids on the Block, the late 1980s pop music sensation, has announced another cruise-with-the-band voyage for 2010.

Tickets for the three-night "NKOTB Cruise 2010" will go on sale to the general public beginning Thursday at 12:00 noon EST.

Like this year's trip, the voyage will take place on the 2,052-passenger Carnival Imagination out of Miami and include a single stop at Half Moon Cay in the Bahamas. The sailing is May 14-17.

New Kids on the Block used this year's voyage to kick off the band's North America reunion tour, and it sold out almost immediately. It was so popular that on the day the cruise was first advertised on NKOTB.com, the site's server crashed.

More than 2,000 mostly female fans of New Kids on the Block (six out of seven were women) booked the first voyage.

Like the first cruise, the new voyage will include lots of chances for participants to interact with the band including a welcome cocktail party, photo sessions, a deck party, beach party and a question-and-answer session. The band also will play a concert on the Lido Deck.

Pricing varies depending upon cabin size, but a $300 per person deposit is due at time of booking. More information is available at nkotb.com.
