Ladies, if you’re a fan of New Kids on the Block, I’ve got some seriously exciting news.

Not only can you have the chance to meet Jordan Knight, who’s in town working on an upcoming solo project (slated for spring release), you could, just possibly, be the one lucky fan or band chosen to perform a duet with him and possibly even open for him on his solo tour. No joke, folks!

Jordan has been traveling all over the U.S. in search of amazing singers, putting the word out about the impromptu auditions via his Twitter, @JordanKnight, and now he is making a Nashville stop.

“I don’t want people to be afraid of singing, and I don’t want them to think that I am going to clown them, like on American Idol,” Jordan said. “(Idol) brings people in who can’t sing, and they do it for entertainment’s sake, and they make them look stupid. But even if you can’t sing, just sing anyhow from your heart and have fun! That’s what it’s about! I wont make you look like a fool. Let’s all be fools and have fun.”

Auditions will be 4-6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct 28, at Hollywood Disco (1907 Division Street) and are open to female singers and their bands, ages 18 and over.
