As the new fall season continues to inch closer, networks are doing their part to get audiences excited!
Donnie Wahlberg made an appearance at the 2010 CBS Summer Press Tour Party held at The Tent on Wednesday, July 28th, 2010 in Beverly Hills, California. In a crisp white suit, he represents one of the networks most highly anticipated shows (at least by the millions of fellow Blockheads!) called, Blue Bloods.
Producers Mitchell Burgess and Robin Green, whose names you might recognize from their writing work on the HBO hit The Sopranos, talk about their upcoming drama about the relationship between a father, played by Tom Selleck and son Wahlberg. The duo shares more than just a last name, they both for the New York Police department with Selleck as police commissioner and Wahlberg is a detective.
“He reminds me of my dad,” Wahlberg shares. “He has this look about him, and growing up, my dad would have [a similar] look– like he was just going to smack me on the back of the head. So a lot of times in scenes opposite Tom I’m just waiting for that hit.”
Blue Bloods (formerly known as Reagan’s Law) will be on Friday nights at 10PM ET
