A New kid On The Block for Joey McIntyre as he announces his wife is pregnant

Former New Kids On The Block Joey McIntyre had a special Christmas Eve announcement for all his fans.

The 37-year-old former boy band singer and his wife are expecting their third child.

'Barrett and I are so blessed and grateful for the little one on the way,' McIntyre, 37, told People Magazine.

The couple married in 2003 and already have two sons, three-year-old Griffin Thomas and one-year-old Rhys Edward.

'We’ll have our hands full,' McIntyre said after revealing that a third baby is on the way.

One of nine children himself, McIntyre proclaimed: 'Three’s the new nine!'

Celebrity website TMZ first broke the news and the former 90s star also took to his Twitter account to confirm it, tweeting: 'It's true - Baby Mac #3 on the way in May.

'Couldn't think of a classier baby announcement than @TMZ.'

McIntyre will have to find a way to juggle daddy duties with his work commitments.

He's set to reunite with his New Kids on the Block bandmates and the Backstreet Boys for a nationwide tour in the summer of 2011.

However, both groups will perform on 'Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin Eve with Ryan Seacrest in 2011' to promote their upcoming tour.
