NEW KIDDING ON THE BLOCK Joey McIntyre and stage partner Emanuel Kiriakou sold out two weekends in a row at the Palms Lounge. So they've added two new dates: March 5 and March 12. And they hope to return this fall, in between McIntyre's touring with New Kids on the Block, on the road with Backstreet Boys. McIntyre tells me he wishes to "earn my stripes" at the Lounge, maybe settling into contracted residency here. At Saturday's show, they sounded great and loose. Of more than 200 people in the crowd, about seven were men. The rest: wild, cheering women. "The highlight IS the girls," Eman says. "I never get tired of the screaming girls. Donnie Wahlberg can now add the title of “Grammy Presenter” to his long list of accolades. The actor/singer/stud was photographed during his arrival to the 53rd Annual GRAMMY Awards held at the Staples Center on Sunday, February 13th, 2011 in Los Angeles, California. Donnie Wahlberg After months of pounding the pavement as Detective Danny Reagan on Blue Bloods , is Donnie Wahlberg ready for New Kids on the Block 's summer tour with the Backstreet Boys ? By Dayna Roselli • February 7th, 2011 • 9:10 am New Kids On The Block’s Joey McIntyre and producer and songwriter Emanuel Kiriakou took the stage for the first of four shows titled “One Too Many at Midnight.” The shows, which run each Saturday in February at The Lounge inside the Palms Casino Resort, find Joey and Emanuel on stage riffing back and forth and singing everything from New Kids on the Block songs to Taylor Swift and even Ke$ha on this specific night. The packed house sang along, and went especially crazy for the New Kids On The Block songs! Fans held up signs they specially made for the show. Prior to the show, Joey and Emanuel meet 50 lucky fans in the VIP meet ‘n greet which was held inside Studio at the Palms where the duo gave fans a sneak peak of what they would hear later. Though we hadn’t planned on a formal set visit, we couldn’t resist passing by the Waldorf Astoria , where Blue Bloods was scheduled to shoot, just to see if we could get a glimpse of the set or find out who was shooting. We passed by the Park Ave entrance of the hotel and didn’t see any sign of filming but sure enough, as we turned onto 49th St, we saw a crowd of extras and several New York City police cars and quickly realized they were shooting exteriors right on 49th St! Since we hadn’t planned to stop by the set and weren’t sure who was there or what they were filming, I approached one of the PAs and asked if Donnie Wahlberg would be filming. She confirmed he was on his way and told us where to wait if we wanted to try to talk to him as he arrived. Donnie did pull up about ten minutes later but he...

The New Kid goes Old Vegas by playing in a lounge By Melinda Sheckells | February 3rd, 2011  Joey McIntyre   This February, The Lounge at Palms will welcome Joey McIntyre, the youngest member of the late-’80s supergroup New Kids on the Block. Now 38, he’s not a baby anymore, but he’s still adorably cute [insert swoon here]. McIntyre will take the stage with Eman, a.k.a. Emanuel Kiriakou, a noted singer/songwriter who has worked with Whitney Houston, David Archuleta and Celine Dion.
