BOY BAND fever might be sweeping the globe but without these originals they wouldn’t exist.
New Kids On The Block ruled the eighties, while
Backstreet Boys picked up their mantle in the nineties. Now the two
grown-up man bands are touring together.
As
they came out to a mash-up of NKOTB’s Single and BSB’s The One with a
pinch of Coldplay’s Vida La Vida, the heartbeats of thousands of fans,
who never thought they’d see this moment, thundered.
With a back catalogue boasting some of the most timeless classic pop efforts ever written, there wasn’t a dull moment.
And showing the energy of blokes half their age, both groups effortlessly flipped out the old dance routines.
We’ve
Got It Goin’ On and Cover Girl took the crowd back to their teens. And
without spots, school and puppy love to worry over, it was worth every
second.
