ET Canada: Donnie Wahlberg on Jenny McCarthy and 'The View': "She Is Going To Be Fantastic."

While hundreds of his fellow actors have flocked to Toronto for TIFF-related purposes, Donnie Wahlberg has come to town for a very different reason—to hand out 200 free hamburgers.
The actor/singer, 44, was at the SoHo today distributing the free burgers to celebrate the Toronto opening of Wahlburgers, a burger franchise that he co-owns with his brother Mark.
ET Canada caught up with Wahlberg earlier today, and asked him to comment on his upcoming appearance on The View (co-hosted by his girlfriend Jenny McCarthy, whose controversial claims about vaccines and autism have made her appointment to The View enormously contentious), and on the 25th anniversary of the New Kids on the Block album Hanging Tough.
Here's what he had to say.
On Jenny McCarthy and The View:
"She is going to be fantastic. She’s fantastic at everything she does, and I don’t see how this will be any different. I’m going to be there—I’m a guest, I’m her first guest. It's going to be a hot seat that’s for sure!"
On the 25th anniversary of Hanging Tough:
"I think it’s a mindtrip for every human being on planet earth – 1) That we have actually all aged 25 years, and 2) that so many people still sings those songs after so many years. It’s crazy. It’s been 25 years since we broke on the scene, but it feels better now. It’s better this time around, probably because we are older and can appreciate it more. I think we are better. I can’t jump around as much as I used to, but I like doing what I’m doing now much better now."
Wahlburgers is expected to open in Toronto early next year.
